"Camp Echo attracts families looking for a traditional camp experience without feeling “over the top”. It’s a well appointed camp with a lot if activities but has a rustic feel. The directors are responsive and really seem to know every single kid at camp and the dynamics of each grade and bunk. Every grade has its own traditions and trips, keeping the kids looking forward to experiencing each year.
I find the families to be low key and nice.
I highly recommend Echo and can’t really think of one thing we’d change."

"We have been so happy with camp echo. My daughter is highly sensitive and is an empath. We were nervous sending her to sleepaway but found camp echo which exceeded our expectations. She had the best first summer.
After touring many camps, we found that camp echo had the best of both worlds. It had all the facilities that the larger camps had (example trapeze, horseback) but also felt small, woodsy and homey. The directors are very flexible with their programming as well. For example, they mentioned that if they notice the younger bunks are getting too tired they will move their bedtime up. they seemed to really know what is going on with each camper and when you are in charge of hundreds of kids flexibility is key. "
