"It’s not the fanciest place… it can be described as “rustic” but the kids, families, traditions and overall feeling makes up for the fancy stuff. I had one child go for 8 summers and my second child just finished summer #5. Green Lane is a feeling… "

"My husband and I met there. He was there as a camper and counselor and his father attended. There is a lot of warmth and love that can be felt immediately on their campus. The families we’ve met have been welcoming and inclusive. Athletic and more into art and water activities can both thrive here. Would definitely recommend."

"I have a unique perspective on Camp Green Lane. I was a camper there in the early 90s, during my formative pre-teen and teen years. I came to camp not knowing a single person. I lived my life at home in the shadow of a very pretty, very popular older sister, who was not a camp person and had no desire to go to camp. Lucky me. I got to start somewhere fresh. I was not a staff kid. I was not a legacy. I had no older silblings at camp, yet I found my place, my voice, my confidence and everything I needed to succeed at Camp Green Lane. Just like choosing a camp where I had no roots, I followed a boy I loved and moved to Alabama with no roots. When it was time to think about summer plans for my son when he was 7, there was only one option. Green Lane or nothing. He's just completed his 4th summer at camp. I get to return to the place that made me who I am each summer and watch him grow into the person he is meant to be. He is the best version of himself at camp. He is friends with everyone, and he did it all on his own. I am amazed every summer when he returns home from camp a little taller, a little more mature, and a little more Northeast. Camp Green Lane is his world. He lives 10 for 2 (and secretly I do too.)"
