Lindenmere

I send my 3 children with very different interests to camp Lindenmere. My oldest will be a counselor next year. Since it is elective based, they can all choose what they want. My sporty kid chooses all sports. One chooses rock band and media type stuff. And another chooses the circus/trapeze activities. They have 3 majors that they do daily and then can fill the rest of the day with other interests. This camp offers all of the activities traditional camps offer plus so much more! The staff is warm and caring and the atmosphere is fun, energetic and welcoming. All 3 of my campers have made close camp friends that they keep in touch with throughout the year."

"This camp is truly a great camp. Being that it is elective based the kids can choose anything that interests them, and there is something for everyone. I was worried that if bunks do not travel together my child would not form strong bonds with other campers, but she did make friends and she did create strong bonds with others. I think that it is great for kids to just have fun and do what they want to do. They also have weekly trips which changes things up a bit. My one wish is that it was not a session camp and everyone went for the full seven weeks. Otherwise I highly recommend Lindenmere."

"In retrospect, I would have chosen a camp that had more former campers and/or teachers as counselors and division heads."
