Pembroke

"We chose this Pembroke because my daughter wanted an all-girls, Jewish camp and it needed to be in the northeast and offer a 2-week session that started in the second half of the summer. This happened to be the only one, but it also happened to meet a ton of other criteria that we didn't know we had. It's next to a lake. It's not overly religious. It isn't more expensive than the average camp. Few NYC kids attend it (we live in NYC and since none of her friends go there, it has become a special place that is just for her)."
